For over 13 years I have carried a chronic headache in my pocket. I started feeding her young, around 14 years old. A dull headache that kept coming back no matter what action I took. Cut chocolate, cut cheese, do electroencephalogram, take medicine, go to the gym...after becoming an adult, cut wine and coffee. I swam, swam, and always died on the beach. They were 3 days straight sessions as a vampire, isolated, lying in the dark and with dark circles under her eyes.
My bedside table was filled with medicines of all kinds and from all the different specialists I had ever visited. They alleviated the pain in the head but the side effects were always a head heavy as a jackfruit and a stomach stage for the Second Congo War! She always heard the same diagnosis, her disease is chronic Giovana, IT HAS NO CURE. Like 'accept it hurts less!'
It was in 2017 that I discovered hypnotherapy, and all the possibilities that came with it. Changing your subconscious mental programming to eliminate pain seemed to me like a seven-headed animal. After learning from one of the best neurosurgeons in England, a lot of sweat, dedication and of course an ISO 9001 certification I finally managed to hack my mind and alter my unconscious programming. Result: The headache put its tail between the legs and disappeared. My body no longer needed to protect me from that disease, hypnotherapy gave me the opportunity to tell him that I no longer needed it. Living a pain free life today is a reality, which I welcome with open arms and affection.
